Mary E. Foley, R.D.H., M.P.H., has been hired as MSDA's executive director. Mary is a licensed dental hygienist and holds a Masters Degree in Public Health. She is the former state dental director for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Office of Oral Health. Prior to her appointment with MSDA she served as the dean of the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She has served as an oral health advisor to several national organizations and has sat on the executive councils for both the Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors and the American Association of Public Health Dentistry. In her role as executive director, Mary will support the MSDA Board in advancing the mission of MSDA, oversee strategic plan and grant activities, assist in collaborative activities with members and partners, and aid in the procurement of funding for the association.
