Launch of the 2023 National Survey of State Medicaid and CHIP Dental Programs

We are pleased to announce that the
2023 National Survey of State Medicaid and CHIP Dental Programs
will officially launch on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
 
The 2023 MSDA National Survey of State Medicaid and CHIP Dental Programs will officially launch on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. The survey will be implemented in phases to make it easier for State administrators to complete and submit. Below is a list of the phases and the corresponding dates for submission. 
 
Phase 1: General Information: Name of the program; program type; primary contact; other key contacts
Submission Date: January 15, 2023

Phase 2: Benefit Information: Confirm and/or update existing BENEFITS as listed in your state program's report.
Submission Date: January 31, 2023

Phase 3: Policy Information: Confirm and/or update existing POLICIES as listed in your state's program report.
Submission Date: February 28, 2023

Phase 4: Management: Confirm and/or update existing PROGRAM MANAGEMENT as listed in your state's program report.
Submission Date: March 31, 2023

Phase 5: Administration: Confirm and/or update existing ADMINISTRATION as listed in your state's program report.
Submission Date: March 31, 2023

Roxanne Parkins will serve as the Project Manager. She will be responsible for the dissemination of the survey and collection of state responses. Marty Dellapenna, Policy Center Director will oversee the project.  Both Marty and Roxanne will be available to answer any questions you may have.
